Introducing ‘Forward’ - an Online Community for Young PR’s
Written on March 13, 2006 – 11:06 am | by Paull Young
It is with great pleasure that I introduce an online community for PR students and young practitioners, Forward.
Forward has been set up by Erin Caldwell with the assistance of a group of Auburn college students. I’ve signed up as a principal contributor; and I’m extremely excited about getting involved in some conversations on the site.
Erin has posted a great introduction to Forward. Basically, it aims to be the place for Young PR’s to converse, learn and move Forward in their careers.
This is really the essence of PR. AÂ place to bring a like-minded audience together; to communicate and form relationships of mutual benefit.
If you are a Young PR please head to Forward and have a look, it would be great if you could leave a comment or give us some feedback.
We also greatly value the assistance of experienced industry professionals. If this sounds like you, please check out this post by Robert French and the ‘Investor Relations’ page on the Forward website.
I really hope you can all get involved in this. Let’s all work together to move Forward – this is what our profession is all about!

Paull-
I just read the comment you put on Marcom about Erin (the south park/ Brian Boitano reference)…hilarious. Gotta give you some for that one.
Thanks for your help with Australia launch of Forward. Looking foward to seeing where we can take this thing. Cheers!

Jackie - It’d be great to see you contributing, send me an email if you’re interested.
Justin - I’ve read that Erin is famous, doesn’t sleep and ‘is a force to be reckoned with in the Auburn community’. All the qualities of a villian in a Bond film…

She could definitely play a femme-fetale in a Bond film. You know, blonde, smart, kills anyone in her way…that’s Erin
