Young PR World Tour :: As Seen by Others

As I press publish on this post I also bring to a close the most exciting chapter of my life. I’m at Heathrow Airport, about to board the 20 hour flight back to Sydney. Stay tuned for Young PR news when I’m back… once again delivered with an Aussie accent ;-).

You’ve been able to do physically what a bunch of us do digitally. Thanks for being the blog ambassodor for those of us who can’t take the time for a trip like that!

Paull- It’s been great reading along, felt like I was there with you — well sort of. Safe flight home. Hopefully see you again in NYC for some more Aussie beers :)

    Paull,

Congrats on finishing your great journey. The one thing you forgot to mention — the number of Chipotle burritos you had eaten!

Hope to see you back in DC soon.

    Steve

    Paull,
There’s not much else to say. I agree with Eric, you’ve become the physical manifestation of social media.
It was a pleasure to have met you face2face and I’m looking forward to doing it again.
Oh, we had some silly times, eh? Congrats, Paull, on a trip well traveled. Many people are jealous - the younger version of me is one of them.

Luke, you hit it on the head. Paull, I actually wrote a post the other day - using you as an example - about how social media should be appreciated not just for the connections it creates online, but also for the potential it creates for transferring these relationships from the web to the real world.I haven’t published it as yet, but I don’t think it’s an unknown fact among us bloggers.

Congratulations, Paull - it was a privilege to hang out with you on two of the legs of your grand tour. What next for our globe-trotting young blog legend, I wonder…?

Great wrap-up, Paull! Adding up the numbers really expresses how vast and awesome your trip really was.

You are truly a legend now. :-)

    And I second Michael’s question … what’s next? …

To everyone who has posted above,

I’ve just arrived back home from the looooong trip via Hong Kong, and while I’m exhausted - this put a real smile on my face.

Stay tuned for a further response, and some news on what’s next, when I can think straight tomorrow morning!

Welcome home, Paull. It’s been great reading about your travels. Time for you to get stuck into bringing Australia up to the moment, though. As you’ve seen, the rest of us haven’t been able to do it in your absence :)

Alex - I’m glad some of this rambling is useful.

Steven - It looks like it’s going to be a huge year for the Aussie Social Media scene. We need to catch up for a beer mate!
